MA-System
Function principle
The modular designed MA-system is integrated in the exhaust piping of the vehicle, most of the times in place of the original muffler. The filter medium is made of Silicium Carbid (SiC), a high-tech ceramic. The filter is able to load the harmful diesel particles out of the exhaust up to 99.9% collection rate. The regeneration of the filter takes place while driving mode, after a certain soot load is reached in the filter and there is a minimum exhaust gas temperature. The entire process is supervised by the HUSS ACS control device.
