Solid background

As environment and health issues become more and more important, efforts to find solutions for reducing pollution rates play a major role in modern times. HUSS, LLC has its mother company located in Germany, where it is known, as well as in the European market, as a specialist in the diesel engines exhaust gases aftertreatment.

• Since the 1980s the company cares about making available efficient filtering solutions, specially for the “heavy duty” and “off-road” vehicles such as: 
• trucks;
• forklift trucks;
• construction vehicles;
• mining applications;
• commercial vehicles;
• buses and;
• stationary diesel aggregates.

HUSS, LLC filters can be defined as a balance of the fulfillment of human needs with the protection of the natural environment, what contributes for a sustainable development. 

Exhaust aftertreatment devices since the 1980s

Since then, the development went on steadily. Filters in different sizes were developed, today you find solutions for engines up to 700 hp performance.

The regeneration methods were innovated, too. Besides the electrical regeneration, HUSS is today also known for its innovative MK-system, with a diesel burner technology regenaration strategy - the best option in the market. This technology meets especially the requirements of diesel driven construction equipment and is certified by important entities such as CARB.

As an innovative company, of course this was also not the end of the road. Today, a system with engine external diesel injection for regenerating the filter during driving mode is also available. New systems and strategies are continuously being developed.

On the expansion path

Besides the core business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, projects in the USA, Canada and South-America were realized.

In November, 2006, the innovative Diesel particulate filter system HUSS MK has been launched into the American market, when it was certified by CARB (California Air Resource Board) as BAT Level 3+*. This certification reassures the high quality and international standards achieved by the company.

HUSS, LLC is founded

                   

Due to this flourishing new market environment, the time shift, and the geographical distance, it was clear that in order to create a good business connection, founding an overseas subsidiary was just the next step. On January 19th, 2007, the HUSS, LLC has been founded . The newborn company is active both in California (Palm Springs) and in the so called Tri-State Area: New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

All employees have been trained according to the same standard levels found in the German company, which guarantees the high quality service for the customers. The know-how of the employees and the established HUSS brand make the company interesting for different branches and deciders. Well known companies such as Jungheinrich, Mitsubishi, Multicar, Manitou and Caterpillar rely on the products of HUSS. Besides that, sales and service orientation allows the company to offer the customers professional consultancy in sales. This means: technical support during the installation of the filter and afterwards, during the maintenance procedures.

The advantage is that, as a newborn company, HUSS, LLC brings along a solid and successful background to support it.
