Clean motion – Exhaust aftertreatment for wheel loaders
The group of construction vehicles is not thinkable without wheel loaders any more. These vehicles are versatile, all-purpose and powerful. Therefore it is not remarkable that they are often in use on inner-city construction sites, in tunnelling or on dumping grounds and in recycling applications.
Especially for these applications the legislator dictates strong regulations for protecting the health of the employees, of the machine users and also of course of the residents. Diesel powered vehicles emit soot particles, which are considered today as carcinogenic. So the worries of the legislators have a reason: More and more the retrofitting of Diesel particulate filters, especially for certain construction sites, is regulated. The owner of the wheel loader has a hard job to do: The selection of the right filter. On the one hand the legal regulations have to be fulfilled and on the other hand the function and the lifetime of the vehicle should not be put at risk.

So the vehicle is safe from damages through the particle filter and the driver of the wheel loader is informed about the function.
The filter cannot effect something, if it isn`t installed professionally on the application. This belongs to the HUSS philosophy. Optionally the filters are integrated professionally into the exhaust gas system and electronic circuit of the vehicle.
