Advantages of the HUSS Additive Control System (ACS) in an overview
“As much as necessary, as little as possible”
This slogan describes accurately the function of the HUSS ACS. In relation to the temperature, RPM and exhaust gas back pressure a quantity of additives is dosed into the Diesel fuel. If one of these values changes over a pre-defined period, the ACS alters its dosing behaviour in an optimum adaptation to the motor management. This means that only as much additive as necessary and as little as possible is fed. The required quantity of additive is reduced to the optimum minimum – self regulated of course.
